If you know me, you know I don’t like Ohio State. Yes they are a school with a solid academic program that deserves respect, but while I can respect them, that means little about liking them.
It probably didn’t help that just a few weeks ago their basketball team traveled to West Lafayette to take on my Purdue Boilermakers and gave us our second loss in a row, and to date our only loss at home.
Needless to say, tonight’s entertaining though close victory to repay them for the home loss makes me jump for joy. On top of that Senior Chris Kramer provided a monstrous block to stop a basket that would have put Ohio State within 1 point in the waning seconds of the game. Block of the season? Just maybe.
The issue I have now is that I now want to think about the last 5 games of the season; none of which are really easy. A game against Illinois Saturday in West Lafayette, at Minnesota in The Barn, MSU and rival Indiana at home, then off to Penn State where they will likely be itching for a win.
I o think we can win all of these, but every one of them is absolutely full of traps. But the advantage is this; all we need to do to win the title is run the table from here on out. And even if we don’t, we can actually afford to drop 1 game as long as it’s not to a team named Michigan State.
We will see how it all turns out, but needless to say, the Big Ten season is still far from over. And it only is going to get better from here.

I’m going to try to make an effort in posting every day from now on, first off to actually have some content and obviously that’s lacking here right now. Also though, because I’d like to get my writing to a higher level while getting my thoughts into public view; even if some of them are crazy.
If you are interested in posting an advertisement in the “Sponsors” listing, do let me know. I’m not sure I want to get rid of that just yet, and wouldn’t mind pimping some friends stuff. Also if you have any thoughts, or want to guest post I’m all for allowing guest content as well. Again, I obviously need more of it.

I just want to take a moment and welcome you to the new and “official” blog of Eric Sherred (not that anyone will be imitating me). I don’t know where this ride will take us, but I hope tat it will be thought provoking and entertaining. I want to hear back from everyone, so don’t be afraid o speak up. I only request is that we keep away from personal attacks and troll-like behavior. Other then that, let’s have some fun. I look forward to whatever happens here. Now ends the filler post so that I have 1 while I finish setting up the blog.
